Help for South - East Asia
"Your left hand should not know what your right hand is doing"
After the terrible catastrophe from 2004 in South - Eastern Asia , the Foundation Studium Academicum was contacting the Christian Mission Centrum, his old partner from Chennaj, the capital of the region Tamil Nadu from India , to offer his help.
A short consultation and a quick decision resulted a wide collection action. C hurches, reverends and their church members, coupled with the biblical motivated "Your left hand should not know what your right hand is doing" action and they collected 119.200.000 Lei. With this money, we want to reduce the misery in the catastrophes area. That means that our Foundation, in consent of the Christian Mission Centrum, had transfer 4220 USD, which sum won't be used after the donor's ideas, but after the decision and needs of the affected people. Our idea is, that first of all there has to be resolved the existential problems of the people in the crisis region. They have to earn again there own bread. They shouldn't be exposed to a long humiliating and demoralizing helps time. People can use our donation to buy work equipments (boat, nets), or tools for the reconstruction of the every day life (house machines, school equipments).
The Foundation Studium Academicum is expressing his thanks to all the people, who recognized there social and Christian responsibility, as they decided to be a help for people in South - Eastern Asia .
