In the year 2010 our Foundation had - as usually - more activities, specifically in four fields:

Scholarship

By the help and support of the Dutch Foundation HOE (Hulp Oost Europa), in the frame of this program we have been able to support financially 25 sholars (middle in this program school) and students with an amount of 4.000 Euro totally.

Training for elders

Our topic of the trainings organised in year 2010 was: "The elder, as the most important co-worker of the pastor." To these small conferences held in different congregations attended about 160 elders totally from five different regions.

Youth camp

The Dorcas-Camping nearby Debrecen (Hungary) was the place of the camp organized in 2010, of which attended almost 40 youngster. Beside the usual Bible-studies and interesting lectures, the attendants had also opportunity to focus and strengthen their Christian fellowship with each other. There were made smaller excursion with the whole group in the surroundings and sightseeing as well.

Conference

We organized in the Roman Catholic youth center of Oradea (“Posticum”) also by the support of the Dutch Reformed Political Party SGP (Staatkundig Gereformeerde Partij) the conference regarding the challenges of the integration of the Roma (gypsies) minority in East-Europe, specifically Romania. Leaders and representatives of different Roma organizations, of local councils and representatives of governmental organizations shared their views and ideas with each other about the topic. The experience about the integration of minorities of our Dutch guests contributed to perceive the whole problem more nuanced and in its own complexity.
