The author of the - in Transylvanian also known and highly appreciated - books "New reformation" and "The grounded belief", Klaus Douglass was one of the most famous lecturers of the Foundation Studium Academicum in the year 2005.
The guest speaker, as a Lutheran minister in a congregation nearly to the outside of the city of Frankfurt (a.M.), had through an unbelievable way between his parishioners - also international mentioned - a quantitative and qualitative swing emerged.

His reputation minister and as an international speaker, has stimulated our Foundation to invite him, and to take an advantage of his readiness, for four different seminars in different places.
With this aim the Foundation Studium Academicum together with the "Reform Pastors Association in Romania" and their local chairs of the deaneries have organized the first country-wide "travel seminar". Those events were the first ones where our Foundation extended his border of activity.
At 30th of August in the church centre of the Reformed Congregation of Fugyivásárhely came about 55-60 pastors together from three (Bihar, Arad, Temesvár) invited decanal regions.

The next seminar was held in the Reformed Congregation of Kolozsvár-Monostor (Cluj) attending by about 45 minister and elders.

Our next station was Marosvásárhely. In the friendly atmosphere of the "Bod Péter" church centre the seminar was attended by over 100 ministers and laymen.

The last seminar was hosted by the Reformed Church of Szatmár-Németi (Satu-Mare). 45 ministers of two decanal regions accepted our invitation.

The speaker intended everywhere to disperse the misinterpretations and misunderstanding that he would cam with ready recipe, or clear advises which would work everywhere.
Over his above mentioned books he affirmed that they were written for his own congregation. Originally he did not intend to publish them. It wont serve as a pattern or example for anybody it will just mean an inspiration. Finely his large experience, convinced him to share all this with the interested persons.
Responding to our expectation he has given a brilliant presentation of theoretical and practical church-strategy of his own congregation.
He presented in eight points the practice of his congregation, accented that the enumeration of the points is not a priority order:
- empowering leading
- gift oriented co-worker group
- passionate spiritualities
- aim orientated structures
- inspiration sermons
- integrated small groups
- necessity orientated evangelization
- loving attitude
He was delighted over the high interest of attendance which was marked also by those who asked for dedication in his books.

The audience could formulate its questions and his one's remarks in the group discussions.

In the plenary session Klaus Douglass has explained: in his congregation all this strategic points are seen out over, and within the church council will be discussed and will be established the priorities of the next year parish ministries.
He stressed that we as reformed church are more called to reform within our church as any other denominations. This is our healthy tradition (Biblicism, openness for change, readiness for renewal) since we consider our self as successor of Luther and Calvin.
The translation of the seminars with Klaus Douglass was assured from the co-workers of the Foundation Studium Academicum, with the collaboration of László Kállay, Barnabás Balogh and László Szilágyi.
At the end of the four-day seminar Klaus Douglass held a brief evaluation with Barnabás Balogh and László Szilágyi. After this meeting Barnabás Balogh has made a short interview with Klaus Douglass:
