The Foundation Studium Academicum had its roles and responsibilities established, but as a new element the youth work has been also included in his main plan. The Foundation sees the effectiveness and importance of the youth work and so the youth have to be re-invited and involved in the church. Through all this the Foundation want to serve two aims: on one hand it would like to reactivate the young people in cooperating in the church, on the other hand it has to be aroused the social and public responsibility of the next generation.
Due to this motivation the leaders of the Foundation, decided to organise a youth missionary conference, where the concerned young people could be a great impulse to begin a youth missionary work. This issue was raised in the conference, which was organised on 21 st May, 2004 , in the Academy Centre, in Fugyivásárhely.
Rev. László Kállay, the president of the Foundation is devoted to this work being inspired from Matthew gospel's last verse of chapter 28. He indicated that Jesus had the mission order for his disciples given to insure, that today will be in the same way actual for all the people who wants to follow him.
After some provocative ideas and suggestions that were shared among 80 young people in 4 working groups with the help of 10 reverends they were lacking answers for the questions such like: Why is it necessary to go to mission? Which are the missions forms we know? What is the secret of the honest and open mission?

In the small groups it was possible to discuss very intensively and deeply the above mentioned topics after which results were shared in the plenary session by one of the representatives of each working groups

After the group reports, rev. László Szilágyi, the project manager of the Foundation, summarized that in the mission order of Jesus is nothing what the present and talented youth can not realize.
Shortly after that, Edit Szilágyi, qualified youth referent through a cheerful lecture presented, what the youth think about themselves and about the surrounding people in the way of becoming adult. She emphasised also the inside spiritual changes of the youth, which is influencing the social and Christian sensibility, and responsibility in the relation with the Gospel.

The enthusiastic listeners were looking with devotedness at the models of mission, presented by Edit Szilágyi, through which they could get some inspiration from the German youth mission work.

After the lectures and spiritual feeding should not be missing feeding of the body thanks to the youth from the local reformed church

In the second part of the day, the participants were free to decide what they want to do. They could take part in table tennis competition, or they could play board games or simply to watch a film followed by discussion. It was also free to have one-to-one discussion with somebody.
In front of God it was ascertained, that it was worth the effort to motivate the youth to work on their own. The Foundation hopes that the project to organise a long term youth mission work, will be supported by some of the participants who attended this successful mission day.
