Report about the stipends-service in the school year 2005-2006

Taking in consideration his own possibilities, the Foundation Studium Academicum, published the stipend-service for the school year 2005-2006.

This year there were four times more requirements as last years, which mean that for this school period we received 130 support solicitations.

For this study period, we can assure stipend for 32 pupils and students. That means that 12 students receive 800.000 Lei, and 20 pupils 600.000 Lei monthly. The overall sum for this aim is 120.000.000 Lei.

Under the supported students and pupils there is a great diversity, then our Foundation supports also Reformed, Romano Catholic, Roma and Jewish youth.

For the first time our Foundation enlarged the stipend support for youth with postgraduate studies. That means that we assure a partial financial support for one candidate for a doctoral degree.

The Foundation Studium Academicum thanks for the financial support of HUE from the Nederland - through the intervention of Mr. Gerrit van den Toren; for the collection through Mr. Terry Payne in Lemesford - England; and for the donation through Pfr. Egbert Zager from the Synodalverband Reiderland, which makes possible for this period the function of our social stipend service.

For a good and useful function of our stipends service, we are still waiting and asking for donations and financial supports.
